Sketch to Series Live Show!

Come out to see our Sketch to Series students tape their first live show of their original comedy series ACK! (Atlanta Comedy Kids!) These students have written, produced, acted in, shot, and developed each one of these sketches over the past 12 weeks. We will be filming a live taping of both EPISODE ONE and TWO - along with debuting all 7 of their original digital sketches. Special Guests include Atlanta's favorite Comedian and Improviser MARK KENDALL and musical special guest driving in all the way from Nashville TN GENESIS VIOLET. We hope to see you there!


Mark Kendall is an award-winning comedian, filmmaker, and educator. Along with his production partner, Bill Worley, he is the co-founder of CoolCoolCool Productions (, where they use comedy to encourage civic engagement. Their videos were named “Best Reason to Laugh” by Atlanta Magazine in 2021. His Mark Kendall Comedy video channels have accumulated millions of views. His films have screened at the American Black Film Festival Comedy Festival. He is the co-host of iHeart Media’s, “Ridiculous News” a news and comedy podcast available wherever you get your podcasts. He has toured nationally with his one person show, “The Magic Negro and Other Blackness” (originally produced at Dad’s Garage Theatre and The Alliance Theatre). While studying film at Northwestern University, he completed the Comedy Central Chris Rock Summer School Program, where he pitched jokes at “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report.” Mark was named best Professional Funnyman by Creative Loafing in 2015 and was the Readers Pick for Best Comedian in Creative Loafing Atlanta in 2019. Genesis Violet is an actress and singer from Nashville! She's been singing publicly since she was 5 years old at notable venues like the Bluebird Cafe, Hard Rock, B.B. King's and The City Winery. Vocally she delivers a mix of R&B, Pop and Americana. On the acting side of things her silver screen debut happened this year as she played the beloved camper Amy in "Camp Hideout" alongside Corbin Bleu and the legendary Christopher Lloyd. Currently she's in the studio working on upcoming productions and is excited for 2024 and everything it'll bring.


All tickets are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend the show you purchased tickets for and you notify Imagination Emissary via email at least 8 hours in advance of that show’s start time, your tickets can be transferred to any other Imagination Emissary show of your choice.
